Day One: From The Old Will Come The New

God, he makes new things grow from old things.

Only God can do that.

No matter the stump, the old fruit, the rotting fruit, the not even their fruit...
I will stand up and testify that, "Yes! God makes new things grow from old dirt!" He did that with me. New from the old. And when he needed a way to enter this world, a way to get to us, to be one with us, to become...us....

he came in through the door of the old.

God can do that.
He makes new things grow from old things.

We've opened the door over here to the season of...blossoming? Yes! Blossoming! Humanity's story has been blossoming for hundreds of years. That root, it was there, there from the beginning. It never withered, even though many thought it had. That stump, it represents a messy family tree..

it represents every family tree.

The moment is finally come, when God himself will burst forth, through the stump of a messy family tree...

and bear much, much fruit.

God can do that.
He makes new things grow from old things.

Out of the stump of David's family will grow a shoot - yes, a new branch bearing fruit from the old root... Isaiah 11:1
